For Pete’s Sake

Seems like I’m back to my old ways of forgetting to update about things, even if I have been up to things. I think the best thing to start off with is to let you all know that I passed my Small Sided Referee course. Feels kinda good to have achieved that though I haven’t yet signed up or anything to be a referee anywhere.

Last week I finally got my passport sorted though it was mostly out of necessity. I planned to visit my parents who were in France at the time (though did not know I was coming) but remembered that my passport was out of date. So I had to go to Newport to use the same day service and get my passport. Have succeeded I then went to France last Friday. It was an eventful trip, harsh weather on the drive to Plymouth and, on arriving at Roscoff it took a long time to dock and even then the ferry had to be docked the wrong way round. This meant that I had to turn my car around on the car deck, interesting and certainly an experience. Spent Saturday, Sunday and a part of Monday there and then made it back late Monday night.

Work as ever is rolling on and things are just generally going pretty well. Nothing really major to report to be honest. Anyway, hope all is well with everyone else.
